Rose is an experienced physiotherapist with particular skills in manipulation, massage, dry needling and patient specific exercise prescription. She instructs 4 Pilates classes a week as well as the pregnancy Pilates class on Wed night. She has particular experience in post-surgical rehabilitation (spinal and orthopaedic) and has developed a special interest in the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction.
Rose graduated with a bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2004. Over the last 12 years, she has worked in Hobart, Darwin and Adelaide where she worked in acute and private hospitals, as well as private practice. Rose is balancing her Physiotherapy career with raising a young family of 3 small children. She has a passion for antenatal and post-natal care and understands the challenges the current generation of mothers are facing physically and emotionally through pregnancy childbirth and beyond.
Rose is passionate about her patients reaching their full physical potential throughout their life stages. She strongly believes that fitness is a role to play in everyone’s life. Rose keeps fit herself by running (she completed the Melbourne marathon in 2012), swimming, cycling, triathlon and more recently surfing. Rose is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association & the National Continence & Women’s Health group. She is dedicated to her professional development and has completed courses in headache management, assessment and treatment of the pelvis, advanced dry needling and Pilates.
